Levi Johnston Says He Lied About the Palins, Issues Apology
Our favorite non-pecker-showing Alaskan babydaddy Levi Johnston tells People that some of his claims about the Palin family last year were lies. "I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true," he says. What are those things?
Levi doesn't quite say, but whatever the lies were, he's very, very sorry. "Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize," he says. He blames the situation on anger over his breakup with amateur actress Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's daughter and the mother of his son, Tripp. Because of the Palins have always engaged in a "dance of death" with Levi, the family had a statement of its own ready. "Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it," Bristol told the magazine. But this probably has less to do with Levi doing the right thing and more to do with those rumors the couple are back together.
