Last night's episode of Louie might have been the funniest thing on TV in ages. Laughing the whole way through the episode made it difficult to select the best highlights from the show, but we tried our best. Hilarity inside.

During the show's opening, Louie can't help but be distracted by a woman talking during his standup routine. He calls her out on this immediately and he is relentless with the insults. I have a feeling this is one of the more shocking things to air on FX in awhile.

Later in the episode, Louie gets guilted into taking an acting role as a cop because his agent died right after getting him the gig. The plus side? It's starring and directed by Matthew Broderick. Unfortunately, Louie is not a very good actor, and must act alongside the man known for Ferris Bueller's Day Off and it's not going well. Below, the pair do many takes of one simple scene.
