A man "holding 2 big knifes" tried to break into Paris Hilton's home this morning. Quick as a flash, she pulled out her cellphone—and took a picture and tweeted it while the cops slapped cuffs on him.


What a schlump, he didn't even wear black. Anyway, Paris' Twitter feed has since gone silent, but before that she was tweeting shout-outs to her favorite L.A. shopping spots and pictures of her new pug, Mugsy.


No word on what the knife-wielding home invader wanted (Did he know he was breaking into the home of a woman with 2.5 million Twitter followers?) but TMZ reports the "armed and dangerous" gentleman did not get in.
