A French soccer team won't let one of its veteran players, Yoann Lemaire, back on the team after he came out of the closet and took a sabbatical. It appears what team you play for really matters.

In 2009, Lemaire took a sabbatical from the amateur club FC Chooz after teammates made homophobic comments in front of television cameras. Now Lemaire's looking to return to the team, but management has turned him away, apparently because of his orientation and the "trouble" it causes. (Lemaire says that only two of the 60 players on the team have an issue with his sexuality.) Obviously, the team's refusal to allow Lemaire to return has nothing to do with his talent. His ball handling skills must be top notch by now!
