In an effort to make Los Angeles even more like the movie Demolition Man, the city has just ordered ten thousand jet packs for it's police, paramedic and fire departments. The gang over at Fox and Friends are unsurprisingly skeptical.

As it turns out, they were right to be skeptical. Reader Greg sent us a tip:

The story about the LAPD ordering 10,000 jetpacks comes from the fake news/satire publication Weekly World News.

I guess this is standard Fox News fact checking. Nonetheless, I am a little disappointed to find out that we won't be flying around in jetpacks anytime soon.
