Woman Already In Line for Thanksgiving Sales Restores Our Hope for America
In case you were worried about the ongoing recession, here, in a video about a woman who is already camping outside a Best Buy to be first for post-Thanksgiving sales opportunities, is proof that our economy is back on track.
Clearly this woman is entirely insane ("Bugs... or ants..."), but it is still nice to know that people, even the insane ones, in this country are feeling confident enough about their personal buying power that they're yet again turning an admittedly based-on-bullshit but ultimately humanity-positive holiday like Thanksgiving into an orgy of mindless consumerism. And then to boast about it to a news crew! It's been too long since I've seen that kind of economic get-up-and-go. We're on the mend, everyone!
