Lawyers for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange have filed a formal appeal to the London high court's ruling last month that he be extradited to Sweden to face rape and sexual assault charges.

Assange's lawyers have argued in the past that if he is forced to face charges in Sweden, he will be victimized in a rigged secret trial at the hands of a "radical feminist" prosecutor or be rendered to Guantanamo Bay.
