Charlie Sheen Could Have a Cable Talk Show Soon
Who's the latest to hop on the Charlie Sheen Manic Episode Train, currently heading express to Someone Getting Seriously Hurt And Probably Dead? Yes, it's loudmouth billionaire Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, who's apparently talking with Sheen about developing TV shows for Cuban's cable channel HDNet:
Cuban said there have been discussions about Sheen hosting a talk show or starring in a reality show on HDNet, but nothing is certain at this point.
"We're trying to decide," Cuban said. "Right now, we're taping a lot of different things that he's doing and we'll try to figure it out. It's still not 100 percent certain.
Not that we want to stop Cuban from wasting more of his money, but anyone thinking of investing money in a talk show starring a violent, deranged F-18 jet like Sheen should probably watch his terrible webcast from Saturday. Or, if you're really masochistic, his even worse webcast from late Sunday, embedded here for your pleasure. It features an extended disquisition on the phrase "it is what it is"!
