When Bill Hader sat down with Carson Daly, we learned how he first got into comedy, where his sketch group first practiced (in Nick Offerman's workshop, of all places) and how he made it onto Saturday Night Live.

As turns out, it was Offerman's wife, Megan Mullally, who first told Lorne Michaels about Hader—who immediately phoned him and invited him out for an audition. At the time, he was working as an assistant editor on Iron Chef America. SNL players—they're just like us! (Minus the famous friends, of course!)
