In his 87 years on Earth, Bello Maasaba has married 107 women. Currently he lives with 86 of them. What led Maasaba to ruin his life by surrounding himself with so many women like that?

An Islamic faith healer from Nigeria, Maasaba says that for much of his early adult life, things were pretty normal. He had only two wives, worked in the clothing business and in the sugar industry, and didn't hang out with anyone from the Bible. Then one day during the 1970s, the archangel Gabriel stopped by to say some life-changing angel things, and Maasaba fell ill for a while. Then he got better, ditched his humdrum lifestyle, and embarked on his current career. He also started getting married a lot, because Gabriel told him to "take wife after wife after wife."

Eventually God, who hates to be left out of things, also showed up and got involved in Maasaba's affairs:

"I get a revelation from God telling me any woman I'm going to marry. If it wasn't from God, I wouldn't have gone beyond two," he explains in a wispy, singsong voice.

Apparently Maasaba's got a reputation for being a good husband who is caring, loving, and capable of giving his wives "the sexual portion they need." How he attends to all his wives' portions is between him and his scheduler, but it probably doesn't leave much time for watching sitcoms. Other than that, Maasaba's only "cons" seem to be his hang-up about obedience and his tendency to divorce wives who visit hospitals.

If you can promise not to go to the hospital, ever, and would like to marry Maasaba, you're in luck: he's still accepting applicants. If you demand a lot of personalized attention or think you might need to visit a doctor some day far off in the future, then the gig's probably not for you. But if you're somewhat independent and like to feel part of a sisterhood or collective, then it could be a good fit.
