New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will reimburse the state $1,232.30 for a recent police helicopter ride to his kid's baseball game and $919.20 for another trip tomorrow. Finally, justice has been brought to New Jersey.

It appears that some Democrats in the legislature were making hay over this, with one state assemblyman saying Christie had "crossed the line" with this mishap. Really? This is crossing the line? Pretending to have unionized teachers get themselves in police trouble seems more line-crossing-y.

The good Governor Sandwiches is welcome to spend his money on helicopter fees for as long as it tingles him, but here's some brief consumer advice: CAR RIDES = CHEAPER. And perhaps cushier as well!
