George Somogyi and his 17-year-old daughter Rianna "share a biting, sardonic sense of humor of the Monty Python variety." So dad figured he'd take out a $500 joke ad in his daughter's senior yearbook without telling her.

Apparently some people took it seriously! You can read it above. It's obviously a joke, but it's a little weird for a high school yearbook, and plus it's anonymous, leading many to believe it was a mean prank by fellow students. There are jokes about camel shit and stapled eyelids, but Rianna told Patch that she's cool with it: "When I first saw the ad, all I saw was the pictures, and I thought, 'Oh, my God, I'm going to kill him.' But then I read the writing, and I just thought, 'OK, this is funny!' and I was OK with it." So there, haters.

Sardonic Dad has a message for anyone who was a little slow on the uptake: "And if you are angry and bent out of shape about this ad, you walked right into being the butt of our joke. To those people I say, 'Thank you-you proved our point.'" Zing.
