After much speculation, J.K. Rowling has released a video explaining what her mysterious new website, Pottermore, really is. A new book? A game? No, it's just a store.

Well, OK, it's only mostly a store, a place to sell Harry Potter e-books. Otherwise there's some mysterious thing that supposedly enhances the experience of reading the books, and like you can contribute stuff or something? So, it's a fan-fiction portal? If that's the case then I'm pretty excited because I have a 700-page, harrowingly psychosexual Neville/Flitwick slash that I've been looking to publish somewhere. Cool to put that on Pottermore, J.K.?
