Meet Britain's Top 'Next' Model: 'This Fat Bloke'
Meet Roland Bunce, of Belfast, Northern Ireland! Roland, uncharitably described by The Sun as "this fat bloke," is has won the voting round of this year's "Make Me the Next Model" competition, by about 65,900 votes.
Yes: Roland, helped along by the "Roland Bunce to Win Next Model 2011 Facebook" group, garnered 66,000 votes to the runner-up, a "stunning blonde" (The Sun's words, not ours) who received a grand total of 89 votes.
Of course, the battle isn't yet over: Bunce now moves into the second round, which involves a "judging panel." If he's smart, he'll move on to this new, and so far less popular Facebook campaign: "Roland Bunce for King."
