College Professor Leaps to His Death Before Class
Rudolf Alexandrov, a 71 year-old adjunct math professor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, reportedly "became agitated" just before his 5:30 p.m. class in the St. Joseph's Hall building (pictured) Wednesday night.
He walked out of his classroom, to the second floor railing in the building's rotunda, and jumped off, as students and his wife, a fellow professor, looked on. "I heard bloodcurdling screams," one witness said.
Alexandrov died from his injuries. Funeral arrangements are pending.
