Here's the trailer for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, which is, yes, the third Harold and Kumar movie to grace our multiplexes. It is, as you may have guessed, a Christmas movie shot in 3D.

I mean, what else do you need to know? Yes, it looks dumb, but if that dissuades you than the Kal Penn and John Cho oeuvre is probably not for you, and these movies are secretly really smart anyway, way smarter than The Help or The Blind Side or whichever White Lady Helps movie is your favorite. Neil Patrick Harris is back (from the dead), and it looks like the guys shoot Santa. (How much do you want to bet that Harris becomes the new Santa at the end of the movie instead of going back to heaven? Do you want to bet $1 million?) And let's not forget that Kal Penn was just working at the White House as Secretary of State (?) or something, and now he's making a stoner Christmas movie. So, you know, "change you can believe in," etc.

My guess is that as "final movies of important trilogies" go we're talking Return of the Jedi more than Last Crusade. Also, 3D is horrible, and makes movies miserable to sit through. But I'm willing to be convinced!
