Charla Nash, who had her face and hands ripped off by her neighbor's chimpanzee in 2009 revealed her new face on the Today show today. For a woman who was mauled by an animal, she looks pretty damn good.

Nash had the country's third face transplant and doctors replaced her eyes, nose, mouth, and much of the underlying bones and nerves in her face. (The deceased donor of the face has never been revealed.) This was actually the first attempted face and double hand transplant, but the hand transplant had to be abandoned because of complications Nash had from a bout with pneumonia. Doctors will attempt to repair her limbs again soon.

The best part, aside from being able to be seen in public without wearing a veil, is that Nash gets to eat solid food again. Someone get this woman a cupcake! She deserves it.
