Teen angst icon and longtime child star Taylor Momsen is retiring from acting at the age of 18. In an interview with Elle, she says she's all about the music:

I quit acting, actually. I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that's pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I'll be able to only do that for the rest of my life.

Personally, I am holding out hope that she has a backlash rebellious phase at 19, and become a nun. With all that non-stop wearing of stripper shoes, her arches are bound to fall sooner or later.
