Where were you on that fateful September day when America's innocence was lost? Never forget: 9-5-11, when Soulja Boy said a shitty freestyle line that was disrespectful to the U.S. Army. Will we ever heal?

Soulja Boy is primarily known for lying about buying a jet and being one of the worst rappers ever to make a ringtone jingle. And for being America's preeminent spokesman for Souljas. So you can see why the United States military-industrial complex ground to a halt this weekend when Soulja Boy uttered the words ""F**k the FBI and the army troops ... fighting for what? Be your own man... I'll be flying through the clouds with green like I'm Peter Pan."

How are our hero troops in the field expected to be able to focus on protecting American freedom when they have to worry that at any moment, Soulja Boy could swoop down from the clouds like Peter Pan and disrespect them? It's simply an intolerable situation. TMZ did their part to protect us all:

TMZ spoke with Fred A. Flores — a retired Marine who is now a commissioner for the L.A. County Veteran's Advisory Commission. Flores tells us, "It's a very offensive statement ... especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up."

One retired Marine whose phone number a TMZ reporter happened to have doesn't like this so-called "Soldier Boy" character one bit. America must have its revenge. Now, Soulja Boy has released a statement titled "I Am Deeply Sorry To All Members Of The United States Military Services And Their Families." The fact that America's least thought-provoking rapper was forced to release a groveling statement to the world's mightiest military due to a throwaway freestyle lyric would be the most ridiculous aspect of this entire story, except for the fact that famous conservative commentators are now writing about this story as if it is a real story rather than a brief farce at the expense of our nation's out-of-control celebrity media machine.

Soldiers good. Souljas bad.
