Facebook's revenues rose to $1.6 billion in the first half of this year, while profit rose to nearly $500 million, a source told the financial wire. Government officials can pester the social network as much as they want over privacy, and users can complain about having their address books rifled, but as long as everyone keeps using (the new) Big Blue, CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his team will mint money.
