The Family Research Council, which hates gay adoptions, gay marriage, and gay abortions, loves Tea Party Congressman Joe Walsh for his family values, including this one: God forgiveth those who oweth $117,000 in child support.

Walsh supports people who aren't his kids, like anyone who wants to defund Planned Parenthood or keep the Defense of Marriage Act. His on-the-job defense of "faith, family, and freedom," not his application of those values (or lack thereof) to his personal life, was apparently all the FRC really cared about when they awarded him their "True Blue" member status. What Joe Walsh does in his personal life is of no concern to the FRC—they're too busy worrying about your personal life to think much about his.

Walsh is the only Congressman to be named Truly Blue. He's very honored, but possibly not humbled, by the recognition, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. "Defending American values have always been one of my top priorities, and this reward reaffirms my dedication to that fight," he said, while his children sat in a cold room huddled over a bowl of Cup of Noodles and split a mustard sandwich into three parts.
