Who on earth would play Princess Di in a movie? There is no one more needlessly deified on either side of the pond and no actress is going to be able to survive the scrutiny of such a performance. Well, Jessica Chastain is brave enough to try. The British press are going to have a field day with this!

Emboldened by being in every single movie of 2012 (she even played one of the fighting robots in Real Steel), Chastain has signed on to play Diana Spencer in Caught in Flight a movie about her romantic relationship with a heart surgeon. I bet somewhere in the IAC building Di-aphile Tina Brown is thinking up ways to destroy Chastain's career this very minute.
