Updated. After a tawdry trial featuring a clothed death photo, a naked death photo, and a slew of unbelievable sad documents illustrating the King of Pop's demise, physician Dr. Conrad Murray has been found guilty the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.

The jury deliberated for two days; the trial lasted for six weeks. Under California law, a criminally negligent act leading to death can be involuntary manslaughter.

Awaiting the verdict, Michael's sister LaToya tweeted, "I'm shaking uncontrollably." [USAToday, @HLNTV, @LaToyaJackson, image via Getty]

Update: Reuters reports that Murray has been ordered straight to jail, and will not be granted bail while he awaits sentencing.
