Brain Dead People Actually Thinking 'Dang' The Whole Time
It's indescribably sad when a once-vibrant human—due to accident or illness—is forced into a brain-dead "vegetative state." The only solace is the knowledge that their mind has been freed from the worries of this world. Wrong.
According to a new study published in The Lancet this week, "Researchers used an EEG machine to examine brain waves and found that three of 16 vegetative patients could understand what they heard and follow instructions."
"I am so god damn bored," is what they're thinking.
"I've already re-read Johnny Got His Gun like six million times in my mind," they're thinking.
"Do not worry though, I am happy and at peace," they're thinking.
(Some of that was made up to make you feel better.)
