Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old woman who claimed that angelic pop prince Justin Bieber had impregnated her during an unromantic, 30-second statutorily rapey tryst, "quietly" dismissed her paternity suit last week, TMZ reports. She also lost her lawyers' support.

Yeater suffered a major credibility blow after her ex-boyfriend told the papers that she'd initially told him he was the father of her son. Now that her suit's over, questions remain. Will Bieber submit to DNA testing in order to strengthen his own planned litigation against her? Will Yeater face criminal charges for her alleged Bieber encounter? Will Beliebers finally be able to sleep soundly again, now that their hero has been liberated from the shackles of false fatherhood?

Bieber remains the parent of a dog.
