Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell's latest piece of sexy storytelling: Sex and the City Ballet and the Dissolution of Candace Bushnell's Marriage. After allegedly discovering that ballerino husband Charles Askegard was having an affair with ballerina Georgina Pazcoguin, Candace insisted on documenting the affair in her divorce papers, Page Six reports:

Sources tell us Bushnell discovered Askegard's alleged affair with Pazcoguin after they had agreed to separate. One source said, "The divorce was proceeding amicably, then Candace found out about Georgina and became very upset. She believes their affair could have gone on for some time. Humiliated, it was her idea to take the unusual step of naming Georgina as a co-respondent in the divorce papers."

We exclusively reported on Sunday that Bushnell, 53, is divorcing Askegard, who is 10 years her junior, after nine years. She said in a pointed statement, "I respect his desire to pursue his own happiness and hope that we will continue to be friends."

Simultaneously entertaining and torturing others with juicy stories about chic New Yorkers' sex lives. The woman knows her niche.

Between this and Natalie Portman's ballet sex scandal, affairs en pointe are very trendy. [P6, Candace and Charles via Getty]
