Reports from Twitter say that Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight to from LA just a few minutes ago. Details are sparse.

Founder of Activate Michael J Wolf tweeted at around 4:20pm: "On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait"

And "Business Coach" Grant Cardone backed him up: "Alec Baldwin is getting kicked off AA flight as I tweet this!"

That's all we have. So, why was Alec Baldwin kicked off a flight? Leave your best guess in the comments. (And don't all say "booze.") And if you know for real let us know.

Update: Baldwin Tweets he was kicked off for playing an iPhone game.

"Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. "

But Grant Cardone says he was kicked off for being "abusive to an attendant." Hmmmm.... The game is pretty addicting. (Might be more believable if he was playing Fruit Ninja.)

Update 2: Baldwin is back on another AA flight already. American Airlines says they're "looking into this," and asked him to DM them. Maybe an apology is in the works? This isn't Alec Baldwin's first tussle with hapless employees: Remember when he went on a Twitter rant against his "uptight queen" Starbucks barista?
