Kleenex-sponsored cry-athon Extreme Makeover: Home Edition where living football Ty Pennington and a bunch of well-wishers would redo a home for an impossibly virtuous but down on their luck family each week is cancelled.

ABC will stop airing the weekly edition January 13th after the shows 200th (yes, it's been that many) episode and will air four special episodes next year. That's all that's planned. Oh, so sad. You can cry all over again.
