Right now everyone is scurrying around and throwing elbows trying to get their last minute Christmas shopping done at an overcrowded mall. But what happens when you get all your gifts home? You have to make sure the packages look just as good as what's inside. Here are some simple tricks to wrap the perfect present.

You probably don't know this, but I used to be a professional gift wrapper (no, really) and here are some of the simple and basic tricks I learned making gorgeous presents for people rich enough to pay a professional to wrap their gifts. It was one of the most fun jobs I ever had, and now you can get in on the excitement too. Sorry about the cut on my finger (wrapping is a dangerous business) and that there's no ribbon demonstration—for that, you're still going to have to pay me.
