Rocker Meat Loaf once mistook a ghost for a groupie, he claimed in a recent interview.

The star of Spice World, who might consider taking a short fiction class in order to enrich his storytelling, told the UK's ShortList magazine:

When we were making Bat Out of Hell I saw a blonde girl in a white dress. I went downstairs and told the guys, "There's a groupie up on the balcony," and they go, "How would she get up there?" Everybody went up and no one was there.

Meat added that he has previously spoken to a ghost and even "chased one across the room once," which is pretty damn ballsy.

Do you guys believe in ghosts?

I live alone in West Philadelphia, a small kingdom known for the flashy sartorial tastes of its exiled monarch, the Fresh Prince, in an apartment on the top floor of a very old row home. (Don't rob me, y'all — I don't have any money or anything cool.) While the place is bright and charming and easy, breezy, beautiful Cover Girl during the day, every night around, say, 11:30, I can't shake the feeling it is TOTALLY HAUNTED.

Let me be clear: I have never seen a ghost in my apartment. But, one time, a friend asked me to explain the purpose of a mysterious tiny door (about the size of the world's shortest man, in fact) cut out from one of the walls and I jokingly responded "Oh, that's where the elves live." I know it probably just leads to a crawlspace full of insulation or pirate skeletons or something, but, ever since that happened, I can't shake the idea that maybe elves (or ghosts?) do live there?

I'm also prone to sleep paralysis (that's when your mind "wakes up" before your body, leaving you conscious but unable to move), which causes me to hallucinate like crazy. Usually, I become convinced I can feel someone crawling into bed and lying down next to me. Under normal circumstances, this would be great because I am sad and lonely and single, but at three in the morning it's really scary. (No offense, potential ghost suitors.)

Speaking of: Lucy Liu has totally had sex with a ghost once, according to an interview she gave to Us Weekly ages ago:

I was sleeping on my futon and some sort of spirit came down from God knows where and made love to me. It was sheer bliss. I felt everything. I climaxed. And then he floated away. Something came down and touched me, and now it watches over me.

Creepy. Or, good for her.

Anyway, what do you guys, think? Is Meat Loaf a credible source of information? Have you ever seen a ghost? Are you a ghost yourself? If so, have you ever had sex with a celebrity (even just a local celebrity)?
