Marketed to people who are interested in "selling some personal items online, but don't have the time or desire to learn the ins and outs of selling on eBay," auctionPAL steps in as an auctioneer between buyers and sellers. It works for both individuals and organizations alike.
So, once a Romney supporter lists something they'd like to sell, say a DayGlo dildo or 100 pristine copies of Cat Fancy magazine, it goes to auction. Those proceeds then go directly to the campaign in the form of a donation. Meaning that conceivably, a dildo exchange has funded a small part of Romney's campaign.
Though the site itself still works, albeit incredibly slowly, Mitt Market is closed for business.
