At least three tornadoes have slammed the midwest and South this afternoon, from Alabama to Indiana. As of 4pm there were tornado warnings in six states according to CNN.

The southeastern Indiana town of Henryville (pop: 1545) was one of the hardest hit. "Henryville is completely gone," they're saying on police scanners. The Henryville high school, where students had been sheltering as the storm approached has been significantly damaged, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. Some Twitter users, citing police scanner chatter, say some students are trapped inside.

But Louisville's WAVE3 tweets: "No reports of injuries at the Henryville High School. The High School received roof damage mainly according to the Clark Co. Sheriff's Dept."
