Backhanded reality TV casting request of the day, culled from a Gawker inbox:

Subject: Emily Gould article
To: Gawker

I am trying to reach Emily Gould about an article she did that is relevant to a casting we are doing here in Atlanta.

The article was "the worst person in the world" and we are casting a reality series called "Oops... I can't believe I sent that."

John Page is the topic of Emily's article, and he auditioned for us last week.

I would like to speak to Emily to see if we can learn a little more about the other side of John's story.

Let me know if you think you can help!

Thank you,
Brian and Stilwell Casting

Hi Brian,

I will make sure Emily gets this, but first must ask: Does "Oops... I can't believe I sent that" apply to Emily's article, or John's email?

It applies to his email. He certainly has had an oops moment, but of course he is not bashful about it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

What if Emily "can't believe she said that"? According to Twitter, she no longer thinks Gawker-style writing is cool. And I believe other grievances with her career at Gawker have been documented.

Wow! We could have her on the show too!

I can put her in touch with the producer directly if you would like.

Just let me know if she is interested.

Thanks,
Brian

Hey Emily, hit me up and I'll get you guys in touch.
