It was tense for a while there, but after last night's word that NBC has picked up 30 Rock and Community for additional — albeit abbreviated — seasons, today brings news that their Thursday night siblings Parks & Recreation and The Office have been renewed as well.

As predicted, Park & Rec received a short order of just 13 episodes, but that has less to do with the show's strength than with NBC looking to push its new sitcom pickups.

Meanwhile, The Office will return with its starting lineup intact after Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski and Ed Helms all signed new deals. Mindy Kaling is still expected to depart for her new Fox series, and James Spader is also leaving at the end of the show's ninth season.

UPDATE: The initial Parks & Rec episode order number of 13 was incorrect. The show has actually been picked up for a full 22.
