Johnny Depp probably expected Japanese fans cosplaying as Barnabas Collins at the Tokyo premiere of Dark Shadows, but what could have prepared him for a fan cosplaying as Johnny Depp?

Arriving at the airport in Tokyo, Depp tipped his hat to Johnny Depp impersonator Ken Shimizu. I'm pretty sure this Ken Shimizu is not Japanese porn star and gay icon Ken Shimizu, who goes by the name Shimiken. But if so, what a perfect pick to play the lead role in the Japanese adaptation of porn classic Edward Penishands. (Link is NSFW, clearly.)

Depp stopped to give his impersonator an autograph, and somehow managed not to lose all sense of his own identity.
