If your reaction to the Ted trailer wasn't instant arousal, there's a good chance you're not a plushie. But if you are, in fact, a stuffed animal fetishist, Seth MacFarlane's first full-length live-action feature is kind of the holy grail. This is a mainstream film with a talking, highly sexualized teddy bear.

According to TMZ, porn site Clips4Sale.com (NSFW, clearly) wants to acquire the rights to Ted's likeness. A quick glance at the site reveals that it features a wide variety of fetish porn — everything from foot fondling to farting — but perhaps a boost from Ted the bear would cement it as the top plushie destination.

The site sent a letter expressing interest to MacFarlane, who has yet to respond.

Not since Alf has there been this kind of excitement over a stuffed animal. We are very serious and would like to engage in talks with you at your earliest convenience.

As a back-up, I'm pretty sure ALF isn't doing anything.

But not everyone is as turned on by Ted. In another TMZ story — the "T" stands for "Ted" — Teddy Ruxpin creator Ken Forsse expresses his displeasure over the movie. Real-life talking bear toy Teddy Ruxpin does get namechecked in Ted — and not favorably.

"I wish they hadn't done [the film]," says Forsse, who clearly doesn't understand MacFarlane's art.

Either way, Ted is doing well financially: the "flaming, masturbating fart of a comedy" is set to earn the top spot at the box office this weekend. I guess the sex appeal of a teddy bear really does draw bigger numbers than a bunch of male strippers.
