Prosecutor Calls Chris Brown's Community Service Into Question
Remember that unpleasant incident when Chris Brown beat the crap out of then-girlfriend Rihanna?
Even if you're one of those people who wants to forgive and forget, Brown is still on probation and required to complete community service. Whether or not he's done that is now up for debate.
Deputy D.A. Mary Murray requested an audit of Brown's community service records, saying that it's not clear where exactly Brown has worked and how many hours he has completed.
Brown's community service includes graffiti removal and roadside clean-up. His attorney Mark Geragos had asked that Brown's probation be lifted in February, but a judge decided he should have to complete more community service — he had only done half of his six months at the time.
The Grammy Award nominee is scheduled to return to court on August 21.
