WSJ Columnist on Women Saved by Boyfriends in Aurora: 'I Hope They Were Worthy'
Wall Street Journal columnist James Taranto has a thought about Samantha Yowler, Jansen Young and Amanda Lindgren, three young women whose boyfriends were killed while protecting them in Aurora. Here's his thought: "hope you were worth it!"
I hope the girls whose boyfriends died to save them were worthy of the sacrifice.

Taranto, who brags on his Twitter profile that Greg Gutfield once called him "sharp," later described his Tweet as "challenging." It is, I guess, a bit challenging for a Journal opinion writer to understand that selfless personal sacrifice doesn't occur within a rigorous cost-benefit analysis. Certainly, Taranto seems a bit challenged.
