Las Vegas Drivers Distracted by 'Unemployed Men' Hanging from Highway Billboards
Motorists driving through Las Vegas along Interstate 15 were horrified to see what appeared to be a man hanging by the neck beneath a billboard inscribed with the words "dying for work."
It was later determined that the "man" was actually a mannequin in a business suit.
The local Fox affiliate reported that a second billboard with the words "hope you're happy Wall St" was located on S. Highland Avenue. A hanging dummy was found underneath that billboard as well.
Lamar Advertising, which owns the ad space, said the billboard had been hijacked.
Nevada Highway Patrol said there were currently no suspects, but any investigation of the billboard stunt will be handled by Las Vegas Metro police.
