A Montana man was struck and killed while attempting to convince passing motorists on Highway 93 that he was Bigfoot.

44-year-old Randy Lee Tenley of Kalispell reportedly walked into traffic and was "well into the driving lane" when he was hit by two oncoming vehicles.

"According to his companions, he was out there in the ghillie suit attempting to incite a sighting of Bigfoot, to make people think they had seen a Sasquatch," Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider told KECI. "He probably would not have been very easy to see at all."

Police are investigating whether alcohol played a factor in the incident.
