Joey Buttafuoco Is Releasing a Tell-All Book While He's Still Relevant
Hey, kids, remember Joey Buttafuoco? OK, ask your parents. Either way, the repugnant man at the center of the Amy Fisher case is finally writing the tell-all book we've been clamoring for.
Look, I'm sure someone was clamoring for it. How else to explain the publication of his two-decades-after-the-fact memoir Closure.
The book will cover Buttafuoco's affair with "Long Island Lolita" Amy Fisher, who was 17 when she shot Buttafuoco's wife Mary Jo in the head.
Mary Jo Buttafuoco survived the attack and wrote her own book, Getting It Through My Thick Skull: Why I Stayed, What I Learned, and What Millions of People Involved with Sociopaths Need to Know. But according to Joey, that's all hearsay. If you want the real story — straight from the sociopath's mouth — you're going to have to pick up Closure.
Or you could just rent The Amy Fisher Story starring Drew Barrymore. What more do you need than the TV movie version of an event?
