Prince Harry made his first public appearance since the Las Vegas nude photo scandal. Much to everyone's disappointment, he was "fully clothed."

Actually, that's for the best, as the appearance was at an awards ceremony for WellChild, a charity benefiting very ill children and the medical professionals who take care of them. Harry gave a speech and hung out with some of the kids in attendance, generally being charming and regal.

Harry's speech went off without a hitch, although it did earn unintentional laughter at one point.

All of you — children, families, nurses, doctors, carers, volunteers — are, quite frankly, too remarkable for me adequately to describe with mere words. But never one to be shy in coming forward, I'll give it a go.

Get it? Never shy, like when he was photographed naked. OK, you get it.

In fact, there were no overt references to Harry's petit prince, which is disappointing but not terribly surprising.

One six-year-old boy had said he'd make a "cheeky" comment to Harry — namely, "I'm glad you've got your clothes on." But he apparently chickened out, leaving us all to imagine how delightful that would have been.
