Probable compulsive liar and Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan has some thoughts on prayer in public school, and those thoughts are: let the states decide! At a campaign stop in Utah, a campaign volunteer with nine children asked Ryan if "we could give back to the states the right to decide if you want prayer or pledge in the schools.''

"That's a constitutional issue of the states,'' Mr. Ryan told a campaign volunteer during a visit to a Romney for President call center in Orem.

He went on to acknowledge that some states would be more likely to subject non-believers and children of different faiths to school-endorsed prayer.

"You know, in Utah, I would think you would have a pretty good chance,'' Mr. Ryan told her.

Nevermind the fact that the Supreme Court banned prayer in school 50 years ago. But yes, let's revisit the issue now. There's certainly nothing more important going on.
