Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, the couple you just know you could be best friends with if only they'd stop for dinner in your town one night, have announced they are separating after nine years of marriage.

The couple have two sons, Archie, 3, and Abel, 2. It was the first marriage for Poehler, 40, and the second for Arnett, 42.

Their rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly, saying, of the split, "It's very amicable."
