Crocodile in Cargo Hold of Qantas Aircraft Escapes During Flight
Australia's Qantas airline and its cargo handling company Australian Air Express are still unsure how a crocodile managed to escape its cage and wander around the cargo hold of a recent flight from Brisbane to Melbourne.
Luckily, no one was injured and no damage was caused, but the baggage handler who found the "not fully grown" croc likely needed a change of underwear following the encounter.
"The animal was quickly and safely secured when the aircraft arrived in Melbourne," a Qantas spokesperson said in a statement. "The investigation is focusing on whether it had been loaded appropriately on delivery to Australian Air Express."
Something something Samuel L. Jackson.
