Boy, NBC must really dislike Community fans. What other logical explanation could there be for the way the Peacock Network keeps messing with them?

First it pulled the show from the midseason schedule, leading many to believe the show had been canceled.

Then, it fired showrunner Dan Harmon without so much as giving the benefit of advance notice.

When it finally relented and agreed to renew the show — with replacement showrunners — NBC announced the fourth season would only be 13 episodes long.

And now, after teasing fans with an actual, Google Calendarable airdate of October 19th, the network has once again pulled the old switcheroo and postponed the premiere indefinitely.

Oh, and Whitney's been postponed too.

"Given the success we've had for the past four weeks — including winning the first week of the season in adults 18-49 — we've decided to continue to concentrate our promotional strength on our new NBC shows that are scheduled Monday through Wednesday and have therefore decided to hold Community and Whitney from their previously announced premieres of Oct. 19," NBC said in a statement, adding that it might use Community to replace any new shows that fail to meet expectations.

But at least three new shows — Revolution, Go On, and The New Normal — won't be up for consideration any time soon: They've just been given full season orders.
