Joss Whedon Throws Support Behind Mitt Romney and His Path to the Zombie Apocalypse
You might not expect Buffy the Vampire Slayer showrunner and Obama supporter Joss Whedon to record a video endorsement for Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, but that's only because you're underestimating his desire to see the zombie apocalypse become a reality in our lifetime.
"Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in healthcare, education, social services, reproductive rights that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting — all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland," Whedon says in his, ahem, endorsement.
He goes on to note that Mitt is not only committed to "true insolvency and chaos" through "unregulated corporate privilege," but will also be unafraid "to face a ravening grasping hoard of subhumans" — or, as he calls them, "poor people."
