The cast members of Jersey Shore are putting aside their hair products and spray-on tan to give something back to the town that gave them everything.

On November 15th, MTV will air a special live fundraiser to benefit the Jersey Shore victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Hosted by the Jersey Shore housemates, Restore the Shore will collect donations on behalf of the hard-hit boardwalk town of Seaside Heights where MTV's flagship reality show was filmed.

Money raised during the telethon will be distributed through the non-profit Architecture for Humanity with the goal of restoring the borough to its former glory.

MTV's parent company Viacom has already donated $1 million to the Red Cross's Sandy relief fund.
