A 20-year-old mother in Kenya who gave birth to twin boys on the day of the U.S. Presidential election has named her sons Barack and Mitt, after the United States president and a model of a robot briefly manufactured in the 1940s as a companion for lonely children.

Millicent Owuor reportedly explained that she chose her sons' names "in order to remember the day of the vote."

The children were at a hospital in Kenya's Siaya District, a short distance from Barack Obama's ancestral village. The firstborn son was named Barack. Mitt came in second.

According to the New York Times, at least 43 children in the Obama family's Kenyan province were named for Barack and Michelle Obama in the week after the 2008 presidential election.

One of these newborn boys will one day run for President of the United States using a falsified birth certificate.

Hopefully Mitt.
