A pastor who provided grief counseling to the mother of a Sandy Hook victim revealed yesterday how the woman's six-year-old daughter managed to survive the massacre that claimed the lives of her entire first grade class.

Pastor Jim Solomon told ABC News the unnamed child lay still among the bodies of her friends until she felt it was safe to run away.

"She ran out of the school building covered from head to toe with blood and the first thing she said to her mom was, 'Mommy, I'm OK but all my friends are dead,'" Solomon recalled.

The girl, who was the first out of the school after the shooting, now suffers from survivor's guilt according to the pastor, because many parents lost their children "but [her mom] has hers."

All told, six adults and 20 children were murdered at Sandy Hook, including 15 in a single classroom.
